Once a week I will put a fan or fan(s) who has (have) worked hard enough to warrant a little attention.
This week the love goes out to Angela Gill of Chicago. She had a pretty funny "I'll Be Here Awhile" radio request story:
"The DJ said the only way he would play it was if I screamed as loud as i could and explained to him how hot chocolate made me feel (why? I don't know) So of course me being the true 311 fan that I am proceeded to scream as loud as I could and explained to him how "warm and fuzzy" hot chocolate made me feel. At the same time my Mom came rushing in because she heard me scream and when she walked in my door she also caught the last part of me saying "ohhhh it makes me feel so coozzzzzyy and waaaaarrrrrmmmmm" which I got a long talk about after wards. To my dismay, apparently my Mom still thinks to this day that I was on one of those 1-800-LONELY lines....hey but its all worth it for 311!"
