IMPORTANT Radio Request Guidelines:
|
We have some tips for requesting "Speak Easy" that we would like to share with you. It is important to follow some guidelines when requesting, since it's not effective if requests appear to be "manufactured" (i.e. a station receives 150 emails from the same person).

After you have sucessfully made a request for "Speak Easy,"
use the link at the bottom of your team emails to LOG your requests
- First and foremost - if you request "Speak Easy" on your local radio station it should be because YOU personally would like to request the song. Requesting 311 on a radio station WILL NOT allow you to win any prizes or influence your participation within the online team. You MUST know that this is a great way to support 311 - however requests are a personal decision!
- Telephone request-line calls are more effective than emails. Only call radio stations you can hear in the city where you live.
- Call your local radio station ONCE a day to request "Speak Easy." If you hear "Speak Easy" on the radio, it's nice to send ONE email to the DJ thanking them for playing the song. Please do NOT email station programmers or managers. Do NOT call stations out of your radio range.
- Some radio station websites have an email address specifically for requests - that is where you should send your email. Again, it's best to only send one email per day.
