US Tour
Just two dates remain on Bond's fantastically successful US tour, Sat 21 ANAHEIM, CA - House of Blues, and Sun 22 SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Bimbos 365 Club

All the band have REALLY enjoyed going out and playing to their US fans and they'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to the shows - hope you enjoyed them!


Olympics
Keen Bond fans may have noticed several of Bond's songs being played during medal ceremonies, and during some of the gymnastic routines. We haven't been able to notice them all so if you hear Bond's music at the Olympics, write in to the forum and let us know!


Latest releases
Classified is out now in Australia! You can catch Explosive every day on Channel 7's as the theme tune to their Olympic coverage. UK fans don't have much longer to wait now - Classified is released in the UK on September 6th.


Asian tour - October 2004
Many of you have written in asking when Bond will be touring Asia again and the answer is ...SOON! Bond will be back in Asia this autumn with a string of dates in the Far East!

6/10/04 - EOS gives us the scoop on more of Bond's music from Classified!

Eos on Midnight Garden: "The original Swan Lake has a sort of beautiful melancholy about it, so I have tried to keep that and put it in a new light. I wanted to write something really atmospheric and slightly French-sounding. I love Serge Gainsbourg's music and I was thinking along the lines of something like 'Je t'aime', so there is some voice on this track" Eos on Scorchio: "A lot of people think of our sound as being like "Victory" so we thought we'd keep that kind of familiarity there. It is a high-energy track. The intro is Middle Eastern and then goes into something more Spanish."

6/02/04 -Tania Reflects on Their Classified Album

Tania on Lullaby: "It's taking the theme from Pachelbel's Canon and making it into a completely new track, which is what we've done with quite a few tracks on this album, more so than on the other albums. We've taken well-known themes and moved them in a different direction." Tania on Señorita: "Inspired by Habanera aria in Carmen. "It's got a Missy Elliott vibe. It's quite a dark track, moody in the beats. It's edgy, with a catchy melody. I was listening to a lot of Missy Elliott at the time and then I heard someone singing the Habanera theme. I thought it would work really well in that style. So it was more of a musical influence than a personal influence."

Haylie on Explosive: "It is what it says, this track is explosive! It was written by Tonci Huljic, who wrote our first hit, 'Victory'. It is Bondesque in style with undertones of riverdance. Like a lot of our music, this track is an uplifting track; it's fun, very fast, and alive!...to infinity and beyond!" Haylie on Dreamstar: "I wanted to do something really filmic and lush that embraced all emotions. It's a peaceful, serene kind of happiness that one strives for, laced with a longing, yearning desire for something deeper...a bittersweet symphony. It reflected how I was feeling at the time."
