Fanscape: Any last minute preparations before you leave for the road?

Matt: No, we just do our thing now, being on the road is our thing. We're more used to being on the road then we are at home. Now we're just on auto-pilot..usually there's a target run for all the necessary toiletry type things and what not but other then that we just pick up our merch and leave town.

FS: That leads into my next question..What's your luxury item you have to take out on tour?

M: Oh gosh...I always have my computer?

FS: You guys put on a great live show, what is it you're going to deliver in a 30 minute set?

M: We're basically just going to "bring it" every day. Typically try and play our more upbeat and aggressive songs. We just want to get out there and if we can win people over that are walking by. It's such a great place to play for new people we just want to get out there and rock hard there are a lot of really good bands with really good live shows. They're all our friends but it is kind of competitive

FS: What bands shouldn't we miss if we're going out to warped tour this year, other then motion city obviously

M: Well Fallout Boy of course, the rejects still putting on a great live show, My Chemical Romance okay is destroying every day..so many good bands, Underoath.

FS: Any smaller bands, up and coming?

M: A band called Valient Thorr, just ridiculous. I don't even know how to describe them. just kind of trashy, just really funny. A whole persona on stage, they go into character. I love watching them. There are just a ton of awesome bands this year.

FS: You guys did tour overseas with Blink 182, was there anything you missed about the States...how is it touring overseas compared to over here?

M: It's really similar actually, the crowds that come out to our shows the're pretty energetic. They seem to actually go a little crazier over there honestly. It seems like it, but then again it just depends on the city

FS: Your best warped tour memory from a previous year?

M: Warped tour is fun every day and every night. We just hang out with our friends.

FS: What band do you want to get back together for a reunion show?

M: Uh..gosh..how about the reunion show? It'd be The Reunion Show reunion show! That'd be awesome! Our tour manager used to sing for that band..honestly I'd love to see them play again.

FS: The nicest thing a fan has ever done for you..

M: People bring us stuff all the time, which they shouldn't do. They like to bring us sweets and stuff to make us fatter which is working. We have people that have seen us almost 80 times, just the fact that they support us and come to our shows is a wonderful thing. Too many nice things to even count. We have really awesome fans, just really devoted people.

FS: One item for a deserted island?

M: Just one?

FS: Yeah just one.

M: I'm guessing there's no...There's no power on this island?

FS: Yeah no power

FS: No, it's your island we can make it whatever you want

M: Okay, wow Man that's really hard. I'm going to go with clean water that would help me live. That's a stupid answer but it's all i've got now.

FS: If there's twenty four hours until the end of the world what are you going to be doing?

M: I don't know I see...I guess.. taking it easy? There's nothing I can do so I guess I'll just chill.
