THE COMPOUND

Come visit the Volcom Entertainment/ Epitaph/ Vans Records/ Alternative Press Compound located in the heart of the Vans Warped Tour. The Compound will feature performances by Pepper, Vaux, the Line, Places To Park, Arkham, ASG, and Arraya from Volcom Entertainment; Western Waster from Vans Records, and Epitaph's Matchbook Romance, Motion City Soundtrack, and 1208. "First a little background, we have been on the 'Young Band Plan' on Warped Tour for the last three years. That means we played the 2001 Warped Tour for 5 days, and then in 2002 we had 15 dates on the tour, and this year we are out for the whole 2003 tour! Before all that, we went to them just like you do."

"Hard to believe that it was a year ago that I first wrote in my tour journal with a short essay on anxiety. The feeling of "what the hell am I getting myself into" seemed to be the evident theme. However, after surviving the tour last year with minimal emotional and physical scars, here I am again biting my nails with a few days still to go."
